Wellness is an important part of Quadra’s culture. Our Wellness Vision is to improve the health and wellbeing of all Quadra employees’ lives. We have established a comprehensive Wellness Plan which encourages a work-life balance for all Quadra employees, and to pursue an active and healthy lifestyle. The plan reimburses employees for fitness memberships, as well as provides health assessment tools and Employee Assistance Program support.
There is a Wellness Committee which is comprised of employees from each local branch. The committee meets regularly to brainstorm and discuss implementing different activities and themes which support our wellness vision. We host lunch and learn programs with topics such as nutrition, stress management, ergonomics, and more. We hold inter-branch fitness contests, offer yoga and fitness classes at lunchtime, organize running and walking groups, and coordinate off-site group activities such as paddleboarding, hiking, kayaking, and rock climbing.
Quadra is fully committed to the safe & secure operations of its facilities for our employees and the communities we belong to. Safety is given top priority at Quadra, and the level of commitment is proven with our extensive safety programs.
Quadra is proud to support numerous charitable organizations (approximately 40 Nationally). Each Quadra facility has an individual committee of volunteer employees which is empowered to support local organizations in their region.
In addition to financial donations, many employees dedicate their own time volunteering, participating in fundraising events, and helping to make a difference in their communities. Respecting our environment, Quadra actively participates in annual ‘Earth Day’ events with a number of initiatives designed to promote awareness and environmentally responsible behavior among our team. Such initiatives include: promoting the use of public transportation or alternate modes to commute to work, avoiding unnecessary printing of documents, and organizing teams are in each location to clean up garbage from all Quadra facilities and neighboring properties.
